Arius Williams has committed to continue her student-athlete career at Arizona State University. The sprinter with range is a member of the speedy Duncanville squad and a member of the phenomenal North Texas Cheetahs Elite Track Club (NTC Elite).
Her range covers the ability to run a strong 4x100 relay leg, 200m (sub 24), 400m (sub 54), and up to the 800m (sub 2:20). That led to the request of her services by some of the top colleges across the country.

Williams recently cut her list to just three schools that she focused on, which were Arizona State (ASU), University of South Carolina, and Texas Tech University, as she ultimately chose ASU. What she was looking for in a destination for the next four years was simple, "The school where I knew the coaches would take care of me, push me, and was family oriented," Williams said.
As extra motivation, "It's really nice out there, I enjoyed the coaches and the people out there, they welcomed me with open arms," she said.
With a tough decision out of the way, Williams will now move her focus to preparing for her senior season and winning a state championship at Duncanville.
Williams runs a 53.80 PR to win the 2018 UIL 6A - DISTRICT 7-8 AREA MEET
