1A Girls
The 1A girls 100m was a close race! The top three girls were all within hundredths of a second of one another.
Berkeley Mann from Richland Springs was able to power through for the win (12.71) to edge out Brianna Devereaux (12.76) of Shamrock, and Sydney Ritter of Groom (12.77).

1A Boys
Just like the 1A girls race, the boys was just as close. Midway through the race, the favorite and defending champion Chase Thompson pulled up and was unable to finish making the finish even more interesting.
Chireno sprinter Hunter Metteauer pulled out the win with his 11.14. It was the next six places that were closer than close and showed why FAT and photo finish were created. Logan Wheeler from Blanket was awarded second place with a 11.20 followed by Isaiah Maldonado of Paducah in 11.24.
