2. CCCAT Leadership Bleeds Passion

The passion amongst the CCCAT leadership was apparent from start to finish. From making themselves easily accessible throughout the convention to listening intently to the speakers, it was impossible not to get amped up for another cross country season.
Executive Director Ray Baca of Canyon excitedly spoke about the Texas Panhandle Junior High Championship that he started putting on in North Texas. President Lauren Watts of Frisco Reedy was smiling from ear to ear when fellow SFA Alum and new Cedar Park Head Coach Chance Edwards gave an impassioned speech and shared a John C. Maxwell quote that promoted implementing positive habits. Director of Scholarships Robert Ondrasek brought up the Congress Avenue Mile and the conversation amongst anybody within earshot instantly switched to "how could we do that in 2019?"
