Track athletes are known to have a certain personalities in the track world. Sprinters have a mystique to be cocky and boisterous, distance runners are self proclaimed weird and quirky, and jumpers and throwers are analytical and meticulous.
Pole vaulters are thought of as quirky and adrenaline rush seekers. However true or not, one thing that is certain about pole vaulters is that they are athletic. They are probably the best overall athletes in track and field.
Many of them have the skill and ability to sprint, jump, hurdle, and more. They are strong, fast, agile, and explosive.
