The boys preseason All-State second team is a talented group of guys who could take things to a high level this season. Each athlete could easily run their way to become first teamers by the end of the 2020 season.
On the list are all UIL runners that span from 4A - 6A runners. Six of the seven runners qualified for the state meet last year and one of them is a name you might not know, but soon will become aware of.

Boerne Champion three sport athlete and senior Foster Wilfong is the leader of the talented Chargers squad that finished on the 2019 season on the podium at the UIL 5A state meet. He got off to a hot start at the FEAST Patriot Invitational when he ran 15:56.74.
