The Colony senior Wesley Gibbs isn't just having a good start to the 2021 track and field season, he was making some noise before the 2020 shutdown. He ran well enough then to now rank as a top returner in the 400m, 800m, and the 1,600m.

As the state of Texas thaws out from this past week's freeze many of the events scheduled for this weekend were cancelled.

As things slowly start to get back to normal and when the season resumes next week, we'll finally start to see the majority of Texas get to track and field action.

With this weekend previously scheduled to have been week three of action for the 2021 season there should have been some stats and data to see what the athletes were going to look like coming off of the COVID shutdown season.
