The Kennedale girl's 4x100 relay started off what would be a good evening
This was no doubt going to be a fast race as the previous winners were all back on the track with Dallas Carter gold medalist 2019, Liberty Eylau silver medalist 2019, and Kennedale bronze medalist 2019. Kennedale also had the top qualifying time this year.
Through the first exchange and second exchange, Madisonville was in the lead. Kennedale not wanting to be outdone caught them right after the second exchange. Kennedale then ramped it up down the home stretch and took the gold with a time of 46.94. Dallas Carter finished second with a 47.40, and Wichita Falls took the bronze with a 47.75.
Kennedale picked up 20 big team points in the team standings to keep pace with Canyon.
