The pack stayed together at a good pace until the last 100m when Joesph Shamburger a senior from Jarrell took the lead. Grant Williams of Celina was not far behind and battling for second with Mathew Tyeskie of Kilgore. Shamburger won first place with the time of 37:93. Williams held his own to the finish for the silver with a 38:36 and Tyeskie came in third with a 38:75.

Christain Marshall took the lead as Mathew Tyeskie was only steps behind him. They made their way to the finish where Marshall took the gold with the time of 14:27. Tyeskie blew in right behind him with a time of 14:35 and Jeavon Stewart stole third place with the time of 14:57.
