Kailey Littlefield On First Indoors Race, 'It Was Awesome'

For those who weren't already aware how good Kailey Littlefield is, the Lucas Lovejoy sophomore put the state of Texas on notice last weekend in her first indoor track and field meet.

She ran 56.73 in the 400m and 2:12.68 in the 800m at the Texas A&M High School Indoor Invitational. This is the first time she stepped on the track for a competition since the Brooks PR Inv. She won the UIL 5A 800m (2:08.04) Championships and was fifth in the 1,600m (5:02.45).

Littlefield is right back at it this weekend at the Arkansas Invitational; she'll compete in the 4x800 relay, the 800m, and the 1 mile.
