Texas Tech Under Armour Classic Boys 60m Finals Section 2

Nyckoles Harbor (DC) already made waves this weekend with his 200m preliminary race at Texas Tech University. He produced a US No. 4 all-time 200m performance of 20.79 (without starting blocks).
Even though he chose not to run the 200m finals, there was still anticipation built amongst the Under Armour Classic bleachers as Harbor lined-up for the 60m finals.
Harbor eased through the finish line Friday night in the prelims as he ran 6.80. He was joined in the by several Texas qualifiers itching to race the football star.

Harbor trailed midway through the race as it took a while to build momentum. Pressure was created with great starts out of the blocks by Ashton Torns (Austin Westlake) and Isaac Henderson (Pearland Shadow Creek).
With the unusual combination of speed and strength for a 6'5" and 225 pound frame, Harbor accelerated after his drive phase to cross the finish line first to equal the US No. 1 time of 6.73. He shares that with Trevin Moyer (NC).
Finishing second was Henderson in 6.80, which bettered his 6.84 preliminary run. Henderson now has five races of 6.90 and better.
Torns used his great start to finish third in a 6.85 PR. He ran 6.89 in the prelims, which was an improvement on his 6.99 to win at Arkansas last weekend.
