Watch Duncanville Boys Run US No. 1 4x100 Relay - 40.42

COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS -- Entering the weekend, the Duncanville boys had the U.S. No. 3 time with their 41.15.

But that Panther pride had them wanting the top spot.

On Saturday at the Texas A&M Bluebonnet High School Invitational, they got the opportunity to make that happen and surely did, scoring a new U.S. No. 1 time of 40.42 seconds.

The squad cashed in as soon as they hit the track at E.B. Cushing Stadium.

They were expected to get a push from several teams who had competitive entry times.

However, it was only Duncanville who not only had the speed, but had the technique to help carry them to the top national position.

Handoffs have clearly been a point of emphasis within the Duncanville camp as they put on a clinic with all three of their exchanges.

Duncanville now has the top national time in both the 4x100 relay with their 40.42 performance to go along with their 4x200 relay national leading 1:25.33.
