Isabel Conde De Frankenberg competes at the 2022 UIL Region 4-5A Championships

In her short high school career, Isabel Conde De Frankenberg has already made an impact on Texas track and field anc cross country.
The Cedar Park sophomore has two state championships and she looks primed and ready for what will perhaps be the toughest race of her career when she competes in the 800m at the 2022 UIL 5A Track and Field State Championships.
After this past weekend's performance, she might be considered the favorite heading into state. She won the Region 4-5A Championship and her 2:06.53 isn't only a PR in the event, but it now has her high on the all-time list in Texas history.

Only Aaliyah Miller (2:02.96), Raevyn Rogers (2:03.32), Bailey Goggans (2:04.70), and Julia Heymach (2:05.64) have run faster than Frankenberg making her the No. 5 runner in the event in Texas history.
She will now head to Austin to compete against three other girls who have run under 2:10 this season. Last year, she finished runner-up in the event with a 2:09.21, which was a personal best at the time.
