Shadow Creek junior Lailah Hudson is a Shark out of water. The 300-meter hurdler is having a phenomenal start to the 2025 track and field season. Adding to the her track exploits is her win in last week's MileSplit TX POW poll

With her 42.47 run in the 300-meter hurdles at the Generation Park Inv. and win in the event, Hudson earned her placement in our poll. For that reason, she earned over 61% of the overall vote. With one of the highest vote totals in a long time, 7,400 people casted votes for Hudson to win the award.

Brady Solansky (Smithson Valley) had the second most votes in last week's poll with 3,002 impressive votes and Lily Fawcett (Cypress Bridgeland) also had a good vote total with 1,385 votes for the third most.
