Mercy Freeman To Compete in 5 Events A TAPPS State - Again!

At the 2021 TAPPS State TF Championships, Mercy Freeman competed in five events for Tomball Rosehill Christian - as a freshman. She won three gold and two silvers. As a sophomore, Mercy's treating TAPPS track and field fans to a repeat performance: five more events: 200, 400, 4x100, long and triple jumps.

She fell in love with the jumps in seventh grade and looks to PR at the season's premiere event, the State Meet. She's hoping to reach 18 feet in the long jump and high 37s in the triple. 

In 2021, the Rosehill Christian girl's squad captured the team title with 126 points, 50 points more than second place. With Freeman and Kaleigh Frazier, a repeat is a distinct possibility.
