100H
For the first three hurdles it looked to be dead even but it was only a matter of time until Senior Ella Strickland of Junction took command of the race dropping her PR down in the 100H by nearly .5 seconds. She is now the 2022, 2A, 100H Girl's Champion!
The future in the 2A girls division is still looking insane with Juniors Logan Prater of Eldorado and Kaylee Price of Harper battling it out for 3rd place only to be separated by .04 seconds! These girls still have a lot of running ahead to show why they belong at the top of the best when we talk Texas hurdles.

300H
Exploding out of the blocks, Senior Reagan Johnson of Falls City showed why she is Texas' #1 300H in the 2A Division. Coming out of the curve, Johnson really took over and she had a good 10-15m lead and took first with a time of 43.70 seconds to win the UIL State Gold.
Earning the silver medal was Junior Lainey Jernigan from Goldthwaite. She didn't get the first place finish like she fought for but showed she was still in a class of her own as she had no one behind her even to challenge for the #2 spot. She finished with a time of 44.89.
Earning bronze was Ella Strickland with a time of 46.10.
