Dallas Shelton School
Over the last two seasons, Basia Mitchell (Dallas Shelton) has won 8 medals at the TAPPS State Track & Field State Championships, including 7 individual golds. Her 73 points earned is 3rd-most amongst all TAPPS female athletes over this time frame.
A specialist in the short sprints, sprint hurdles and long jump, Basia is a talented multi-sport athlete: volleyball, basketball and track & field. Finally healthy from a bout with shin splints, Basia looks to add to her impressive medal haul and three-peat in 2023 in the 100 hurdles and long jump before heading off to compete at the next level.
