With the 2004 season getting into full swing there were
some new and old faces at the
Dayton
meet. The boys Division(3A and under) saw Caney Creek a 4A school take
the top team spot with 31 points. It is unknown to me why they ran in this
Division. Tarkington and Huffman finished a strong second and third with 59 and
62 points followed by
Liberty
with 82. Individually it was Paul Glazener from
Liberty
in third with a time of

. In the girls
Division
Bridge
City
was the overall team winner with 27 points. The lady Cardinals were lead by
Freshman Nikita Whitford,

. Huffman took second with 68 points and was lead by Amanda Harper 13:30. John
Copperhad 76 points to finish
third, their top runner was Meredith Bunker 13:54. Stacey Monteau from
Anahuac
was the top female with a time of
