Isabel Conde De Frankenberg competes at Vista Ridge

The Cedar Park Invitational on 9/10 is one of several highlight-reel races of the weekend. Nationally-ranked 5A stars Isabel Conde de Frankenberg and Mckenzie Bailey went toe-to-toe in the girls race that featured regular 5A state-champion contender Boerne Champion defeating 6A power Austin Vandegrift.
Race winner Dylan Schieffelin showed that Kevin Sanchez is not the only Vandegrift boys. runner ready to win huge races in 2022. Although missing their top runner in this race, they maintained status as number one team in the greater Austin area with victory over fast-rising Georgetown High.
