Monday will showcase an outstanding collection of talent that will be running around in Waco, Texas for the TAPPS cross country state championships. The Greater Waco Sports Commission and WAHOO put on excellent sporting events and have been doing a great job with the TAPPS state meet.
They have help from the athletes and teams who compete, and this year will be another outstanding edition of the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools competition.
We have the top 2 Mile and 5,000m team averages heading into state. They aren't separated by classification, but you can see who the top overall teams are and how things could play out.

The girls 6A competition will be another battle between the usual suspects.
Antonian looks to win their third consecutive 6A state title and they have the fastest team average of 12:33. Last year, they won with a 12:27 team average at the state meet with a 1:23 split for the 1-5 runners.
