Skylynn Townsend jumped 41-8.75 last indoor season for the top returning mark heading into 2023 season

Several meets have already started dating back to last December. Several jumpers have already started for the 2023 indoor track and field season with girls competing at the LSU HIGH SCHOOL CLASSIC.
With several jumpers already competing at the North Texas Showcase in December 2022, which has the leading mark for this season at 42-6 by India Alix (Klein). However, five other girls have already jumped over 40 feet this indoor season.
