Colleyville Covenant Christian senior Emily Smith has been through some things. However, she has been relentless when it comes to her pursuit of running excellence. She has won three consecutive TAPPS state cross country titles along with several on the track.
This year, she is looking very dominant and she's doing it with a smile on her face. Smith placed fourth last month at the Southlake #1 XC Invite with a time of 17:18. This past weekend, she won the MileSplit TX XC Invitational by making her 18:07 performance look easy.
