Bayleigh Minor of Fort Bend Christian Academy (and Taylor Nunez of Universal City-Randolph) are each within striking distance of tying and/or breaking Texas' all-time gold standard at 14 gold medals in state meet competition, currently held by Ychlindria Spears-Dolce (1999-2002) of Luling High School.
Bayleigh enters the 2025 Track & Field season with her primary goal of helping her squad to a four-peat team championship at the TAPPS 5A level; if successful, all else will follow.
She's the anchor on TAPPS' all-time 4x400 at 3:53.58.
She's the 5A record holder in the 400 at 55.14, the 4x100 at 47.43, and the triple jump at 38-03.
She's won back-to-back 200 titles and 3 consecutive 400 titles.
In all, she own 11 gold titles at the TAPPS State Track & Field Championships, 8 individual and 3 on relays.
