Margaret Thompson (Hockaday) ran 17:55 at the Chile Pepper Festival last weekend
Margaret Thompson and Madison Morgan have been the top two girls in the conference for the last couple of years. Thompson, a senior has one more shot at winning a conference championship. Morgan captured the league title as a sophomore last yea and is looking to defend.
The conference is in good hands with freshmen Maya Bernal (Kinkaid) and Olivia Kiefer (Houston Episcopal) have both run 19:12 and under already.
