Round Rock senior Mason Page initiated the 2024 year and track and field season with a good start. The Oklahoma State commit opened up his indoor season with a 1:57.18 win in the 800m at the LSU High School Classic.
Page had an impressive junior track and field season in 2023 when he added 47.73 and 1:54.36 to his resume; a new indoor 800m personal best is a whale of a way to get things underway.
However, it wasn't just Page who dipped under the two-minute barrier. He was joined by four other Texans two-flat and faster with a couple of more just behind that mark and in the top ten finishers in Baton Rouge.
