Nita Koom-Dadzie competes in the prelims at the 2023 UIL 3-6A Championships

University of Texas commit Nita Koom-Dadzie used an impressive weekend of running at the Arkansas HS Invitational to earn two top five national rankings.
After the weekend the Humble Kingwood senior now ranks US No. 5 in the 60m after running 7.40 and US No. 3 in the 200m with her 23.74 run.
Her omission to the UIL 6A 100m state championships after a runner-up finish in 2022 and not being able to qualify in the 200m due to an injury at the Region 3-6A seems to have further ignited the fire for the 2024 season in Koom-Dadzie
