Last week, Elizabeth Leachman (Boerne Champion) set the country on notice when she opened up her outdoor track and field season breaking a national record in the 3.200m.
With a time of 9:45.57, she se the new national standard, but so far this weekend, she proved she is cylinders are still clicking. To prove it wasn't a fluke, she followed last week's performance at her home meet with a 9:46.51 follow-up performance.

Leachman will continue her running this weekend with a race Sunday afternoon in New York City, at the Millrose Games. The Boerne Champion Charger will compete in the mile against several of the country's best high school milers.
