- - -

Just like the other national meet in New York City, the New Balance Indoor Nationals in Boston were littered with Texas athletes and teams.

Again, like that meet, this one saw national champions and national record performances from Texans.

Middle Schooler Elin Latta turned in outstanding races including a National Record in the mile.

Faith Franklin (Harlingen) won the girls 400m national title and she did so with a new Texas all-time best 53.02.

On the boy's side, Jessie Imemba from Houston's The Village brought a national title home to TAPPS with his 7-0.50 win in the high jump.

Dyson Wicker also joined Texas' best. His 17-8.50 jump not only won the national title, but it ties the Rockwall Heath senior for the sixth best clearance by a Texas both indoor and outdoor performances.
