Houston St. Agnes isn't new to winning TAPPS track and field state championships. However, the TAPPS 6A classification has been as tough as nails to win and this year, the competition level was as high as ever.

That's why it was a surprise when St. Agnes scored 201 point for this year's state title. Not only is it eye popping to the typical fan's eyes, but it was also a surprise to Chris Warren, the St. Agnes head coach.

He was too busy focusing on the competition and his team being ready for each event to tally the points. That was until he was informed they had already racked up over 100 points with several events remaining.

Coach Warren talked with MileSplit about his team's performance.
