Last year, Canyon Randall was reassigned from the 5A classification to 4A. That put them right in the middle of an already difficult and competitive 4A girls battle.
Randall was able to take the necessary steps to compete and in the end they achieved the goal every team in the state sets out to do at the beginning and that is win a state title.
The Randall Raiders won the team title by going for a 11:44 team average with a 51 split from 1-5.
They started the 2024 cross country season with the No. 1 ranking in 4A thanks to returning six of seven runners from last year.
