The Southwest Preparatory Conference (SPC) is small but mighty. While it has one of the smallest member schools, it is packed with great outstanding coaches and some amazing athletes.
DeVonte Taylor is one of those amazing athletes. The Houston Episcopal senior leads the SPC Conference in the 100m (10.70), 200m (21.50), 110H (13.50), and long jump (23-8). However, he not only leads the SPC in the 300H, but he leads all of Texas and the nation with his 36.25 performance.
Other boys like Edgar Thielens (Houston Awty) and Graham Boles (Austin St. Stephens) help lead the middle distance and distance events.
