The 2025 UIL Boys 3A 3200 meters delivered a thrilling and tactical race, headlined by the Strohman brothers from Holliday. Early on, Mario Luna of Vanguard Academy Rembrandt made a bold statement, blitzing through the first lap in 1:09.17 - almost five seconds ahead of the chase pack - and clocking a 2:23.39 at 800 meters. Luna even glanced over his shoulder at the end of lap two to check on the pack, which was led by two-time defending champion Noah Strohman. While Luna handled the early work at the front, Noah calmly controlled the chase pack, allowing Luna to burn energy while keeping himself and the group in striking distance.
