Top Runners who is leaving due to graduation/realignment: 7 out of the top 10 athletes from last year are gone. Parker Stinson, Ryan Dohner, Tom Sanderson, Jay McIllece, Richard Renteria, Austin Geerts, Will Nation.
Top Runners in the top 10 last year returning: Last year this region was stacked with talent and with the addition of new teams it should be the same this year. The top returner is Mark Pinales. Mark placed 3rd last year in this race. Derwin Graham is also a top 10 runner coming back this year. *Justin Brinkley and Brian Gohlke did not perform well in their regional race last year but both shold be considered a contender this year after stellar track seasons.
