Runner of the Week: Whitney Prevost and Dallas Madison Alex Aldaco Apr 12, 2006

Dallas Madison Laides were very impressive in the relay events winning 4x1 in a meet record and getting 2nd in 4x2 in a meet record and getting 2nd in the 4x4 with a notable time. Whitney Prevost (Texas Ciy) won the 100m, anchored the 4x1 to a 40.03 victory and was on the winning 4x2 team.

AUSTIN - The A&M Consolidated girls and boys each won a championship at the 79th Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays on Friday, and they did it in the same event. Both teams won the Sprint Medley Relay, with the Lady Tiger team of Taura Gordon, Kirsten Harris, Whitney Harris and Victoria Walker setting a meet record at Mike A. Myers Stadium.

AUSTIN - The A&M Consolidated boys brought home another title Saturday, claiming the distance medley relay at the 79th Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays. The Tigers, who won the sprint medley relay on Friday, turned in a time of 10 minutes, 25.38 seconds to edge out Southlake Carroll at Mike A. Myers Stadium.

AUSTIN, Texas - The Baylor women\'s distance medley relay of junior Ruth Waller (Manchester, England), sophomores Carla Grace (San Antonio, Texas) and Lauren Hagans (Little Rock, Ark.) and freshman Erin Bedell (Plano, Texas) ran away with the victory and shattered the school record by more than 10 seconds with a time of 11:19.45 Saturday at the 79th Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays at Mike A. Myers Stadium. The old record of 11:30.35 had stood since 1991.

Now a Virginian, Finch has the current top mark in the state for the long jump after her performance in Austin. Showing great consistency, the Centreville All-American sophomore had two other jumps over 19 feet at 19\'0.75\" and 19\'1.75\".
