2022 Islander Splash Meet Information:

Date: Saturday, September 17th, 2022

Where: Islander Cross Country Course- On the grounds of the Dugan Track & Soccer Stadium, 701 Nile Dr, Corpus Christi, TX, 78412

Eligibility: All high schools are invited. No club or unattached individuals are
allowed.

High School Divisions: Any high school may enter athletes in any high school division. The Gold division is for elite teams regardless of school size. The other division titles are indicative of the size of the school competing.

Entry: Submit entries at: www.directathletics.com

Entry Deadline: Entry Deadline is Tuesday, September 13th, 2022, at 5:00 pm at directathletics.com.

Entry Limits: In the Gold Division of the High School races, each school is limited to one
team of 7 runners. There are no entry limits in any other division race.
Entry Fees:

DO NOT MAIL ENTRY FEES!
High school entry fees are $15 for each athlete entered. The maximum entry fee for entries for a high school is $250 for girls teams/ $250 for boys teams/ $500 for combined teams. Once that maximum of entry fees is reached no further charges will be made regardless of how many more entries you have.
NOTE: These are entry fees not participation fees. All athletes entered on the date of entry deadline will be charged regardless of if they compete or not.

Payment of entry fees: Checks, cash, or credit cards may be used to pay entry fees. Checks should be made out to: TAMUCC Cross Country. DO NOT MAIL PAYMENT!!!

Parking:
Team Parking is at the track or tennis court lots for team vans. Buses will drop at the stadium and then continue to main campus and park at the Hammerhead lot, which is located at the second entrance onto campus.

Handicap Parking is at the track stadium lot.

Spectator Parking is located across the street from the stadium entrance

Admission: There is no charge for admission.

Team Camps: Team Camps can be set up on the grass areas adjacent to the track stadium stands. No participants or spectators will be allowed on the track or into the track infield.

Awards & Awards Ceremony: High school races top 25 finishers will get a medal. Top 3 teams will get an award. Medals will be given out in the finish chute. Team awards will be handed out at the awards stand at the times indicated on the final meet schedule.

T-Shirts & Concessions: T-shirts and apparel will be available for sale at the front of the track stadium.

Results: Results will be posted for all races on Saturday on the wall behind the track stadium and on-line at goislanders.com
