2005 Texas Relays Final Entry List.

AUSTIN, Texas - Some of the world\'s most decorated track and field athletes will represent Team USA at the 2005 Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays hosted by The University of Texas. The four-day event, which runs Wednesday, April 6, through Saturday, April 9, at Mike A. Myers Stadium, also features a collection of the nation\'s finest collegiate and prep athletes. Nearly 5,000 athletes will compete in 125 events at this year\'s Relays, which are presented by Nike Timing.

Andy Biladeau competed tonight in the 2 mile of the Texas Relays. Biladeau fell around the mile mark, and got up to battle back into contention for the lead. AUSTIN - For the second year in a row, Carroll\'s distance medley relay team took home gold in the Texas Relays with a runaway victory.

The George Mason men\'s 4x100m relay team ran an NCAA East Regional qualifying time of 40.47 Friday afternoon at the 78th Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays held on the campus of the University of Texas. The time highlighted a packed day of competition for the Patriots, whose women\'s team was also in attendance at the meet.

Seniors Quentin Matthews (Chesapeake, Va./Deep Creek) and Marc Kellman (Coram, N.Y./Longwood) along with sophomore Ryan McCoy (Roanoke, Va./William Fleming) competed for the George Mason men\'s track and field team on the final day of the Texas Relays held Wednesday through Saturday at the University of Texas.

University of Virginia track athlete Billie Jo Grant set a pair of season bests en route for qualifying for the NCAA Regional meet in competition at the Texas Relays this weekend in Austin, Texas. Grant threw 48\' 7.25\" and improved her regional qualifying mark from earlier this year in the shot, while in the discus she threw a 174\' 4\" and now ranks #2 all-time at Virginia, just 3\' 1\" behind the record. Tomika Ferguson also hit the NCAA Regional qualifying mark with a personal-best triple jump, going 40\' 8.25\" and taking sixth at the meet. Inge Jorgensen also finished in the top eight, taking seventh overall with her 165\' 10\".
