400m: 45.24
Boys: The point of this is to be bold, so why not call the 400 record to go down!? Sure no Texan has gone under 46s in 2015, but Obi Ogbokwe is easily capable of crushing 46.00, and we all know what Keshun Reed is capable of. If the conditions are good on Saturday these guys could push each other to a low 45.
800m: 1:48.21 - 2:07.07
Boys: We all know what Myles Marshall is capable of. It comes to down to how much energy he is going to put into this race. If other athletes can push the pace early and take out the 1st 600m hard, it will force Marshall to work hard for the win and open up in the last 200m. If he doesn't hold back, there's no doubt this record falls.

Girls: Obviously with the current record holder in the race, this time is always at risk. Aaliyah Miller has a brutal Saturday workload, so she may not want to see the pace go out in 62-63. But if the race is on target for sub-2:10, she always closes strong and could rewrite her name in the record books.
1600m: 4:43.58
Girls: This is the year to annihilate this mark!! The race couldn't be setup any better! You have the rising star (Julia Heymach) who has already run just .41 off this record SOLO. The senior (Devin Clark) looking to end her career on top of the podium and permanently leave her name on the State Meet. A former champ (Madie Boreman) looking for redemption and a rise back to her former glory. The athlete who missed out on a double and is now all in on this race (Maddy Reed). The Stars have aligned...literally and figuratively. This is going to be one of the most exciting races of the weekend and you better NOT MISS IT!
3200m: 10:13.81
Girls: This race will be interesting. Heymach & Clark have run under 10:20, and neither hitting their full potential. Now going head to head for the 1st time this season these girls could push each other to a sub-10:10
110H/100H: 13.34-13.25
Boys: It's the year of the hurdles in Texas! This is a tough drop to make, but McWillaims and Armstead have been dominant in the high hurdles. We saw them push each other to the limit in a race decided by .01s at Texas Relays. They bring out the best in each other, and could be on the verge of pushing each other to a State Record.

Girls: Targeting the 13.25, Alexis Duncan has been getting faster each week and enters the meet with a 13.36. The question for Duncan is if she can beat Jessica Duckett. The winner of this race ready to take down the record and the National Leader.
4x200m: 1:23.92
I don't think it's a question of if this goes down, but rather by how much? It's already been surpassed by PA Memorial. Speaking of records going down, not only will they take down the 4x2 state record, but they will beat the old NATIONAL record of 1:23.31!
4x400m: 3:09.14-3:38.52
Boys: No team has gone under 3:10, but you have Manvel and Kingwood who are going head to head for the 1st time this season. It will be a Clash of Titans between two of the best in the US.

Girls: Cy-Springs has the fastest time in the state at 3:43, and their star studded team is setup for a breakout race! After talking to the Hightower squad early in the season, their focus was already on the State Meet and redemption for 2014, and after the runner up spot at Texas Relays, you know they are going to be fired up for this race!
Pole Vault: 17-06 - 13'09"
Boys: He's already gone over that height this season. He's the former Indoor National Record Holder, and has taken attempts at 18'. Paulo Benavides.

Girls: Meagan Gray has cleared 13'9" this season, and with solid competition here to motivate her, Gray could push the UT bar even higher.
