Record Breaker! UIL State Edition

1A | 2A | 3A | 4A | 5A | 6A

4A
100m: 11.54
Girls: Two underclassmen have a legitimate shot at running sub 11.50. Virginia Kerley has been dominant this season and ran 11.64 at her Area meet. Daja Gordon could also be the one to make an impact as she finished 2nd at Texas Relays in 11.71.
200m: 23.49
Girls: Coming out of the same region meet, Takyera Roberson and Raegan Padgett both ran 23.70 or faster. These two juniors both have a shot at the record, and we could see them both back next year looking to take it down again.
4x200m: 1:25.82
Boys: This is a fairly new record, but already it's going to come under fire, Gilmer has run a low 1:26.
High Jump: 5-10.25
Girls: Hopefully by now you've heard of Alexus Henry, as the impressive senior from Bridge City has cleared 6'. Though she isn't a lock for the record or even the win as 4A also has Shaniya Mitchell who has been over 5'10" this season.
Pole Vault: 18-02.25
Boys: There are two guys in the state who have a shot at 18' in 2015, and Brandon Bray is one of them.
