Record Breaker! UIL State Edition

1A | 2A | 3A | 4A | 5A | 6A

2A
100m/200m: 11.51/23.94
Boys: It goes without saying that when the defending champ and current record holder returns in both events that Kortnei Johnson could do it again.
4x100m: 47.89
Girls: Rosebud Lott has a chance at 2 relay records with the first being the 4x100m. They're just shy of running sub 48s, so hitting 47.89 is well within their ability. A sleeper pick here could be Italy. They haven't broken 48.8, and a full second is a lot to ask, but if they can put together 3 clean legs and give Kortnei Johnson the baton in a good position, we know she can bust out a crazy fast anchor leg.
4x200m: 1:28.38-1:41.99
Boys: Proving they're in good form when it counts, Timpson and New Deal both ran under 1:29 at Regionals, making them favorites to take over the 2A state record.

Girls:
The current record is from 2013, but it's ready to go down in 2015 with Rosebud Lott running mid 1:42s this season. There's no doubt they have the athletes to reset this record.
High Jump: 7-00.25
Boys: The weather this weekend certainly doesn't look to be favorable for the vertical field events, but if he finds his groove, Blaine Listach has clear 7'2", he's one of the best in the nation, and he could demolish this record.
