The New Braunfels freshmen ran his best time this year at his district meet, where he ran 16:04 to place 8th. That time stands as the 3rd fastest freshmen 5K time this year. He's run 17:35 or faster for 5K in every race this year except NXN South where he ran 18:38 to place 61st in the boys championship race. At state he was the top finisher for his team placing 68th running 17:35 in the muddy conditions.
