Bailey Lear may only be a sophomore but she's jumped onto the national stage early. Lear ran a nation-leading time of 55.01 in section 3 of the girls 400m finals on Saturday to shock the crowd. The McKinney sophomores fastest time before that was 56.58 (indoor) which she ran Friday night and 55.44 (outdoor). Last year as a Freshmen Lear finished 3rd in the state in class 5A for 400m.
