Watch out for Asher Rogers again in this one (he's also in the long jump). The Water Valley senior owns the best seed mark, 45-10.25, which is way over the current state meet record of 44-11.75. Asher was also last year's state runner-up. He will look to claim both titles this year, but will be challenged by Rankin's Michael Rodriguez, who jumped just under the state record with a mark of 45-6.50.
