One girl that stands out from the qualifier list is Jessica Rabius from East Bernard. She was the 3A state champion this past fall in cross country and is entered under the fastest seed time: 11:31.12. Holliday sophomore Cryslan Tucker won state in this event last year with a 11:14.73. Along with Bruceville-Eddy's Makenna Saucedo (11:43.61), and Franklin's Hailey Thomas (11:43.57), this race is shaping up to be a good one.
