McGrath is one of the top young talents in the country and was a part of the amazing girls class of 2021. She proved so during track season as she ran a tough and close second in the 5K at the Texas Distance Festival to London Culbreath. She challenged just about the entire way in that race as she ran 16:51 pushing Culbreath to a PR. She then did the same thing in the 3200m at Texas Relays. She went on to continue her outstanding track season as she ran 2:20.90, 4:53.44, and 10:36.63.
McGrath looks to have a really big sophomore cross country season after the spring. She was 62nd at NXR South and was 18th in 18:03 at the Foot Locker South Region.
A national level season from McGrath wouldn't be surprising as she definitely has tons of talent and seems to get better every year.
