UIL 1A Girls All-State Third Team
21 Ireland Sanchez (Buena Vista)
Sanchez was huge to the Buena Vista team championship. She had a couple of sub 13 minute runs this season and finished 24th overall at the state meet.
20 Mia Franco (Rocksprings)
In Franco's return to cross country this season, she was able to find her groove this season and return to the runner she was showing as a freshman. She was 14th at Region 4-1A and then ran 13:09 at the state meet for 18th place.
19 Bianca Plata (Sands)
Plata was 11th overall at Region 1-1A with a solid 13:39 race. The Sands junior ran her fastest race of the season of 13:09 for 19th place in her return to the state meet.
18 Sianna Serrata (Tilden McMullen)
Serrata improved immensely from last season. She was the Region 4-1A runner-up in 13:25 and then ran a 13:09 PR for a 17th place finish at state.
17 Landry Morrow (Sands)
Morrow is no stranger to the state meet and top finishes. This season, she was third at district, 12th at Region 1-1A, and 16th at the state meet with a 13:09.
16 Bianca Saenz (Whitharral)
Whitharral senior Saenz was 10th at Region 1-1A in 13:39 and then was 15th at state in 13:07.
15 Cherish Dunlap (Utopia)
Utopia senior Dunlap had a sub 13 minute performance and was the Region 4-1A champ in 13:05. She added a 14th place state meet finish in 13:07.
