Right from the gun last year, Hamdani made her statement early on running multiple low 18 minute 5K races. Later in the season, she ran a personal best time of 17:58.45 ran at the 2022 Spring Branch ISD Invitational

During the outdoor track season, Hamdani ran personal best times in the 1600m (5:06.90) and in the 3200m running 11:22.39 at the Houston ISD District meet.



13. Morgan Campbell (So) Port Neches-Grove

During last year's cross country season, Campbell took her high school career to the next level opening up her season at the 33rd Annual Dayton Bronco Invitational with a time of 20:09.00, then ended the season with an impressive 18:40.26 on a Texas tough Region 3 course in Huntsville, Texas. 

Come outdoor season Campbell made her appearance at the UIL Track & Feild Championships finishing 7th overall in 5A girls 3200m with a time of 11:16.34. She finished the season with personal best running of 11:04.34 in the 3200m, 5:15.52 in the 1600m, and 2:18.96 in the 800m and then showed some speed in the 400m running 59.49. 



12. Summer Call (Sr) Humble Atascocita

During the 2022 cross country season Call ran many sub 19 minute 5k's throughout the fall. She finished her junior year off with a personal best of 18:25.50 ran at the 2022 Nike South Invitational

Come outdoor track season, Call ran a season best time in the 3200m running 11:32.00 and showed off some speed in both middle distance events. She went 2:16.65 in the 800m and 5:10.33 in a stacked 1600m at the Texas Distance Festival.



11. Katherine Valentine (Jr) LC Clear Falls

Last year during the beginning of the season Valentine may have not had the outcome you'd typically want to have, but as she learned from new racing tactics she quickly knew the the outdoor track season was going to be one of the best years a sophomore could ever dream of.

As said before, Valentine showed the state of Texas why she is the best of the best, she is after all the fastest 1600m runner in the Houston Metro. She finished the season running personal best times in all three distance events running 11:14.08 in the 3200m run at the Klein ISD Relays, 4:53.16 in the 1600m at the 2023 UIL 6A State meet, and 2:14.77 in the 800m run at the UIL 6A District 23-24 Area Meet



10. Mary Van Dyke (Sr) Humble Kingwood

Van Dyke the incoming senior opened her first race last year at the 2022 Katy Seven Lakes Spartan Invitational with a time of 19:33.40 and would later finish off the year with a personal best time in the 5k with a 18:35.66 ran that 2022 Aldine ISD Larry Gnatzig Invitational

The outdoor season was just as great as her cross season. Van Dyke finished the year with personal best all across the board running 11:10.47 in the 3200m, 4:58.00 1600, 4:41.84 1500m, and 2:17.47 in the 800m. 



At the start of the season, Gracey opened up her season at the College Park Invite running a time of 18:41.12, and would later lower her better personal best time to 18:39.00.

The outdoor track season was the breakout season for the Highlander. She ran fast all season long going 10:47.09 in the 3200m, 10:09.54 in the 3000m, 5:07.71 in the 1600m, 4:45.88 in the 1500m, as well as displaying some speed in the 800m running 2:19.33.



At the beginning of the 2022 cross country, Butler opened her season opening 5K at the Katy Seven Lakes Spartan Invitational running 19:17.90. she'd later down her time to 18:16.10 ran at the Nike South Invitational. Butler is looking to carry the burning torch of Klein Oak in this year's cross country season. 

The 2023 outdoor season was as successful as it gets, Butler ran many personal best times in all the distance events running 10:59.31 in the 3,200m, 10:34.32 in the 3,000m, and 5:03.00 at the Atascocita Corn Soup Invitational
