Record Breaker! UIL State Edition

1A | 2A | 3A | 4A | 5A | 6A

5A
400m: 45.64
Boys: There are two guys who are ready to blow away the field. After winning uncontested races all season, Wil London and Eric Age finally face off in a matchup sure to drive both athletes under 46s.
800m: 2:09.27
Girls: With Kristyn WIlliams running fast out of Regionals less than a second off this mark she'll be hunting down the record in what will be her last State Meet 800m.
110H/100H: 13.40-13.51
Boys: Kendall Sheffield. Enough said.

Girls: Tonea Marshall has already run under 13.51 and Samantha Gonzalez is just a quarter second off, fair to say this one is virtually guaranteed to be broken by at least one of these hurdle stars.
300H: 35.33-40.96
Boys: He's just a junior, but Norman Grimes doesn't shy away from heavy pressure situations. Last time he was at UT he took the first ever Texas Relays 300H over a stacked field. Unfortunately we wont see the Grimes vs Sheffield matchup that would've blown apart this record, but on his own Grimes still has the talent to do it on his own.
3200m: 9:07.60
Boys: Ever heard of Carter Blunt? Could see this one go down by over 10s, and with Tank and Reyna in the mix 3 guys could all challenge the 9:07 record.
4x200m: 1:24.26
Boys: It will take a miracle for this record NOT to be broken. FB Marshall, Lancaster, Legacy, Caprock, McKinney North...the list just keeps going of the teams who have a shot at running a low 1:24 and even down into the 1:23 range.
4x400m: 3:10.78
Boys: We've heard 3:10 thrown around by teams all season, and it's finally time to put on a show! FB Marshall has the players to pull it off and it remains to be seen if anyone else can keep pace over 4 laps.
High Jump: 7-01
Boys: He's already been over 7-02 this season, Brendon Rivera will end his senior year with a very good shot at the State Record.
