Austin Westlake Invitational
Second year Matt Kearney will aim to continue his undefeated season at his home meet. He has racked up six straight wins so far this season. While Matt Kearney is the class of the field on the individual side, the team battle will be a fun to watch play out. San Antonio Home School, champions of the Pflugerville ISD Invitaitonal, will look to get back on track after taking 8th at the Cedar Park Invite and 13th at Texas A&M. The biggest challengers will be Round Rock and Austin Westlake, teams that look closely matched on paper.
On the girls side one runner who enters with a time under 18 minutes is Ashley Driscoll of Round Rock. The Cedar Park Invite Champ has been running exceptionally well her senior season. On the team side, Austin Bowie has to be the favorite entering the meet. Led by a trio of girls with sub 19-minute times, the Bulldogs placed 8th at a deep McNeil Invite.
