The Grapevine girls return six of their top seven that ran at last year's state meet, where they finished runner up to Canyon Randall. Also like the guy's team, they had an unbelievable district meet sweeping the top six spots and placing seven runners in the top eight
Canyon Randall
They are returning 2 of their top finishers in Karyss Betzen, and Briana Hernandez from last year's state meet. At district, they placed six in the top ten to win scoring 24 points. Earlier this year, they won the Canyon Invitational facing off against teams they will see again at the Region meet.
****Another team to watch will be Canyon who finished 2nd to Canyon Randall at the Canyon Invitational.
