2016 USATF Cross Country Championships
What cross country still? Yup, the USATF Cross Country Championships. Texas alumni Craig Lutz won the race this past weekend running 31:40. It was his first race of 2016 and he wasn't even signed up to run until two weeks ago! Lutz described the race as a huge confidence booster, to launch him into the 2016 season. In the interview he goes on to talk about, the jump from college training to training with NAZ Elite, his 2016 Olympic goals and more.

Jimmy Carnes Indoor Track and Field Meet
Beaumont Westbrook junior Jeffery Hulon Jr. headed to Florida this weekend to get in another indoor race before the outdoor season kicks into full swing. The junior ran the 200m and the 55m dash, winning both for this age group. His time of 22.23 in the 200m ranks TX #13 while his time of 6.43 in the 55m dash ranks TX #3.
