Boys LJ
The boys long jump features yet another 1A state meet record in jeopardy. The current record is 21-6.25, held by Jared Scott of Bronte. This year, three guys will enter with better seed marks than that. Asher Rogers leads the pack not only with the furthest jump of 22-.75, but also as the top returner after finishing fourth last year. Five other jumpers already hit marks of 21-plus feet this year, including Newcastle's Grady Shields (21-11.75) and Laneville's Ladarius Arnett (21-10.25). (Last year's results)
